Together with Kaspersky Lab, we have launched a large-scale interactive project on the future of our planet and ever-changing role of technologies in people’s life. When designing earth.2050 we aspired to create a tool able to help us understand what the future will be like and prepare for it.

Objective

To raise awareness of issues related to future cyber security.

Insight

What awaits us in the future? In the future, almost everything that surrounds us – means of transport, electrical appliances, even clothing – will be connected to the World Wide Web. How can we protect them from hacker attacks, from viruses or data leakage?

Idea

Talking about the changes our today’s world is to undergo, we suggest thinking about cyber security right now. On the site, you can find the planet divided into geographical areas, each of which includes a forecast on a certain aspect of society’s life. Many locations are complemented by futuristic images and even 360-panoramas. Any designer, illustrator or artist can upload his/her work to the site, reflecting his/her ideas and visions of the future, and become a part of the project together with the most famous futurists of our planet.
